La 31 Conferencia de AEMI se llevará a cabo en el Palacio Miramar de Donostia-San Sebastián

Donostia-San Sebastián. El Palacio Miramar de San Sebastián será sede el 30 de septiembre y 1 de octubre, jueves y viernes de esta semana, de la Asamblea y Conferencia 2021 de AEMI (Association of European Migration Institutions - Asociación Europea de Organizaciones Migrativas). El Gobierno Vasco, a través de su Dirección para la Comunidad Vasca en el Exterior, organiza el evento, como miembro que es de la asociación desde su admisión en 2007 en la Asamblea celebrada en ciudad finlandesa de Turku. También en 2010 organizó este mismo evento anual, en aquella ocasión en Bilbao.

El lema de esta 31. Asamblea y Conferencia será "Las relaciones entre las diásporas y sus países de origen: nuevas migraciones, movimientos de retorno y contexto histórico (raíces)". Las sesiones se desarrollarán en inglés. El cronograma será el siguiente:
