Donostia-San Sebastian.  The Etxepare Basque Institute has published a call for six lecturers for posts in Barcelona, Madrid, Berlin, Brno, Moscow and California.  In all cases, candidates would teach Basque language and culture classes during the 2014-2015 year.  In the majority of cases, there is also an option to continue through 2015-2016 and 2016-2017.  The exception to this case is Berlin whose contract is only for the 2015-16 year.

Economic Resources

The total budget per academic year is 96,000 Euros.  All of these monies will go towards paying the maintenance of the lecturers.  Nevertheless, this amount does not always correspond to the individual salaries.

-Catalonia: for the University of Barcelona and Autonomous University of Barcelona, 10,000 Euros per academic year and university.
-Spain: at UNED in Madrid, 5,000 Euros per academic year
-Germany: at the Freie University in Berlin, 26,100 Euros per academic year.
-Czech Republic: at the Masaryk University in Brno, 15,500 Euros per academic year.
-Russia: at the University of Lomonosov in Moscow,10,500 Euros per academic year.
-United States: at the University of California, Santa Barbara: 19,800 Euros per academic year.

All transactions will be made in Euros.  The fluctuations of exchange between the Euro and respective monies will not affect the salaries.
