Basque Club in NYC adds a Flea Market to their Basque Fish Market event

The Basque Club in New York City has added a Flea Market to the second eddition of their Fish Market event. There will be a dinner to present the Fish Market tomorrow, Saturday, Mar.29, at Euzko Etxea. The Basque Market will open on April 5, and it will feature 12 vendors. The events have been organized by the Basque Club, MMMediterranean Seafood Co. and Izaskun Zabala Jewellery.

New York, USA. The Second Edition of the Basque Market in New York City is to be held with the added event of a flea market.  Made possible through the  collaboration of the Basque Club,  MMMediterranean Seafood Co. and Izaskun Zabala Jewellery, the Basque Fish Market will be opened with a dinner on Saturday, Mar. 29, and the Flea Market will take place the following Saturday, April 5.

At the dinner, guests will have the opportunity to order produce to be picked up at the Flea Market the following week. Only cash will be accepted. The Flea Market will also feature 12 vendors displaying a variety of goods and foods. The Market will be open from noon until 6p.m on that Saturday.

The dinner menu will be as follows: Starters will be served at the bar; Cod fish croquettes and ham croquettes, Main meal will be served at the table; Octopus Galician Style, Warm Gula Salad ("Gula" is a proprietary name for a baby eel substitute), Cod Fish in Green Sauce and Clams, Almond Cake with Xixona Nougat ice-cream.
