Today is the last day to enter EuskalKultura.com's Basque CD and books raffle: go for it!

Today is the last day to enter EuskalKultura.com's latest raffle. If you didn´t do it yet, you are still on time. The prizes include comics in English about the adventurers of Basque whalers on the east coast of the US and Canada; a book of stories in Basque about Basques who helped build what is California today; a book in Spanish on the Basque Rural Cooking that was created and developed in Argentina by Basque immigrants; and a CD with contemporary folk music by Basque group Korrontzi who are able to liven up any party. Just for sending an email.

Donostia-San Sebastian. In order to participate all you have to do is send an email to info@euskalkultura.com with “For the Raffle” in the subject line and include your name, address, and telephone number as well as which one of the prize you would like.  The prizes to choose from are:

1. – Comic entitled, Joanes, Priest of Pirates, from the Joanes or the Basque Whaler series, situated in the history of Basque whalers on the North American coast, drawn and published in English in the US by Guillermo Zubiaga, Basque cartoonist in New York.

2. – Kaliforniakoak (1533-1848)a 495-page book in Basque by Asun Garikano that gathers news and testimonies of the Basque presence and participation in historic California from the first Western arrival by sea to the territory, to the time that Mexican Alta California becomes part of the United States

3. – Cocina vasca campesina (Basque Rural Cooking), a book in Spanish by Marita Echave, Basque-Argentine author, that gathers recipes, stories and texts about dishes and experiences developed around the kitchens in Basque-Argentinean homes in its 180 pages. Published in Cordoba, Argentina

4. – CD Korrontzi, tradition 2. , a recording by the Basque folk group Korrontzi with traditional Basque music based on the trikitixa with 16 songs that include elements and support of instruments from other cultures, with a spectacular, happy danceable result,

All you have to do is send an email BEFORE  TODAYS'S MIDNIGHT, Basque Country time, to info@euskalkultura.com with “For the Raffle” in the subject line and include the following:

-Name
-Address (street, city, country)
-Contact phone (with codes)
-Which prize you’d like to win
