Donostia-San Sebastián. The raffle of books on Basque culture held by EuskalKultura.com in collaboration with the Etxepare Institute, gathered a lot of interest. Here are the five winners:

-Miren Edurne Rementeria Artiach, Boise, Idaho, United States
-Bernadett Hajdu, Albertitsa, Hungary
-Marcial Agostini Zubillaga, La Plata, Argentina

In the next few days, they will receive their collections of books published by Etxepare. All the books are published in a trilingual edition: in English, in Euskara and in Spanish.

Huge participacion

The raffle that we had for our readers largely took place outside of the Basque Country. Most of the participants were from places such as Chile, Argentina, Venezuela, Spain, France, The Netherlands, the United States, Uruguay, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Germany, Peru, Australia, Italy, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Russia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Wales.

Most of the entrants from outside of the Basque Country were from Argentina, especially from where there are euskal etxeak, or Basque cultural centers. The participation in this raffle shows how far the community of the Diaspora has spread. Here are some of the new locations we received entries from:
