Liverpool, England. The University of Liverpool has begun the selection process for the a lecturer position in Basque Studies. This is a permanent, full time position with a salary between 31,644 and 36,661 pounds, based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

The Basque Language and Culture assistantship, at this English university, is support by the Etxepare Basque Institute, and in past years they have been in charge of selecting the lecturers. However, the new lecturer will hold a permanent position in the university and therefore the University of Liverpool will be in charge of the process.

Requirements

Candidates should meet the following requirements:

·PhD in a related subject

·Certificate in Basque Studies (EGA or equivalent)

·Record of publications of international excellence

·Experience of teaching Basque language and culture in Higher Education at undergraduate level is essential; experience of teaching at postgraduate level is desirable.
