Just as many Basque clubs around the world, Berlin’s Basque club will celebrate the International Day of Euskera today. The Basque community in the German capital will gather at a dinner what will also serve to close this year’s activities. Last Thursday, the club had a very special invited guest: writer Edorta Jimenez who presented the German translation of Baleen berbaroa (The Whale’s Murmur). The book was published in Germany by Mohland and is called Die Stimmer der Wale.
