30 male voices, director and various female musicians comprise the “Hegaldia” Choir at the Lagunt eta Maita Basque Club in Pau At the beginning of this year, the Hegaldia Choir at the Lagunt eta Maita Basque Association in Pau published its CD “Herria gogoan.”  The recording took place during the pandemic at Notre Dame de Guindales, near Pau.  Restrictions due to COVID-19 made the production difficult, but the Basques of the Béarnaise capital city managed to bring the project to fruition.  The CD ...

Beginning this year, Basque Government grants for Basque clubs will be processed electronically

As published by the Basque Government on May 31st, following the regulations in force regarding administrative procedures, the applications for grants for Basque clubs that used to be sent by mail, or presented to the corresponding Basque Government Delegation, will now be processed electronically beginning with the 2021 grants.
