Barcelona, Catalonia.  The Barcelona Euskal Etxea published a job opening yesterday in hopes of filling the position of the club’s coordinator.  This person will be in charge of coordinating the various areas of the club (Euskera, culture, txoko), as well as its finances, its external relations, communication and the coordination of its board of directors, among other activities. 

Besides coordinating, this person will also be in charge of collaborating with other areas of the club during events or cultural series, carrying out the programming, production and post-production of these events.

Requirements:

-Experience in a similar role
-Adequate degree (business, cultural Management…)

Preferred:

-Euskara (C1 level) and knowledge of Basque culture
-Catalan and knowledge of Catalan culture
-Knowledge of the organization and membership of the Euskal Etxea
-Experience and training in organizations of cultural activities

The club offers, “An interesting professional project, with a salary in line with the state.”  The schedule is 40 hours a week.  The contract will last through December 2014, with the possibility of renewal.
