Donostia-San Sebastian. At last year’s EH Sona! There were groups like Doctor Deseo, SA, We are Standard, Lisabö, Ruper Ordorika, Jabier Muguruza.... This year, the 16th edition of the festival, the prize of the contest is to give a concert with Gatibu. 

Contest Rules:

1) All groups or singers who sing in Basque and who have never participated in the festival before are elegible.  All styles of music are welcome.

2) The prize will be to give a concert as part of the Basque music festival, EH Sona, organized by Barcelona’s Euskal Etxea in the Razzmatazz Room, along with the group Gatibu.  The Euskal Etxea will provide travel, lodging, and dinner for the winners.

3) You must submit at least three songs in order to be considered.

4) The contest schedule is the following:

-From July 1-September 8 – audition period
-The winner will be announced on September 18
-The concert will take place on November 23^rd

5) The concert should last for at least 30 minutes but not go over 50 minutes.

6) Songs should be sent digitally and the Euskal Etxea will post them on its webpage and on its blog in order to promote the contest.

7) The jury will be formed of people who are involved in the music world in the Basque Country.
