Are you young and wanting to know how Basques live in other parts of Europe? Travel with “Txapela Buruan”

If you are between the ages of 18 and 30 years old and want to travel to Europe, ETB’s “Txapela Buruan” program is for you. Auditions will take place this Friday at the Basque Television headquarters in Bilbao and you may be one of the four youth chose to travel with InterRail for two weeks all expenses paid. You will visit cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, Budapest, Warsaw and Lausanne. On the other hand, if you are a Basque living in any of these European cities contact ETB at the address below.

Bilbao, Bizkaia.  ETB’s new program, “Txapela Buruan” will debut soon with casting calls taking place this Friday to select four Basque youth, between the ages of 18 and 30, who will star in this show that will travel through Europe.  Anyone in the Basque Country wanting to participate should go to ETB’s headquarters in Bilbao this Friday between the hours of 10am and 6pm.  Additionally, anyone holding a Gaztetxartela will also be entered to win an iPad mini. 

The four youth who are chosen will travel for two weeks through Europe, all expenses paid, including an InterRail pass, lodging and transportation…They will visit cities like Berlin, Amsterdam, Budapest, Warsaw and Lausanne and will learn, first hand, about the lifestyle of Basques in these different places.

In addition, the program’s producer has also contacted EuskalKultura.com to invite Basque clubs and communities or Basque people residing in Europe to also participate in the program.
