Donostia-San Sebastián. Would you like to photograph life at your Basque club, Basque classes, dance practice, or an event or dance performance?  Do you have a nice picture of your brothers and sisters, your parents, children, or a group shot doing something Basque?  It doesn’t have to be a professional one, simply a picture with grace, originality, and be colorful of any aspect of Basque culture around you.

What do you have to do to participate in the drawing, even if you don’t have a camera?  All you have to do is send a paragraph of 10-20 lines describing an activity at your euskal etxea, or explaining what you get out of being part of the Basque community in your area, and you are entered to win this fabulous prize.

Rules

Photography

• Photos must be originals of any Basque theme
• Each participant is limited to five photos
• Format should be jpg of 800 pixels or more but smaller than 2.5 MB
• Including the following: name of photographer mailing dress including country, telephone and email
• Photo caption explaining the activity and where and when it was taken.

Text

• Must be between 10 and 30 lines describing a Basque activity or explaining what you get out of your Basque club or community.
• Can be written in Basque, Spanish, French or English
• Should be emailed to info@euskalkultura.com with “For the raffle” in the subject line
• EuskalKultura.com may publish the photos as well as the texts on its Facebook.
• Participating in the drawing implies acceptance of these rules.

Deadlines

• Deadline for submission is Friday February 15 at midnight continental European time
• Results of the drawing will be published on this website as well as in the EuskalKultura.com bulletin of Monday February 18, 2013.
