Donostia-San Sebastian.  The opportunity to participate in a drawing that will result in six EuskalKultura.com readers receiving a copy of NABO’s wall calendar in their homes begins today.  Next year’s edition features the 40 anniversary of the foundation of the North American federation of Basque entities (you can also buy the calendar through any of the Basque clubs in Canada and the US).

The calendar gathers twelve big photos of Basque scenes, from the US Diaspora as well as the Basque Country.  The names of the months are in Basque and English with the days of the week in Basque, English, French and Spanish. 

Thanks to the collaboration of Elkar, each month also includes a reference to a Basque singer or group, with a photo and a selected album with a brief biography of the same.  The selection of musicians for this year includes:

Those wishing to participate in the drawing only have to send an email to info@euskalkultura.com with “Drawing” in the subject line.  Please include your name, mailing address, including country, and telephone number.  The deadline to participate will be Wednesday at midnight.  The results of the drawing will be published on September 20.
