Donostia-San Sebastian.  The Etxepare Basque Institute has recently published the call for various grants for the promotion of the Basque culture abroad.  These grants are aimed at the promotion of film and literature, theater and art.  They are as follows:

-Travel grants for the promotion of film and literature abroad: The deadline to apply is October 31, 2014.  The goal of this aid is to facilitate the participation of people in the world of film (directors, actors, producers, screenwriters) at film festivals and awards, and for those  in the literary sector (writers, illustrators, translators, and editors) to attend international events in the literary realm.  Overview, links and annexes of the call, here.

-Grants for Basque Theater Companies outside of the geographic scope of the Basque language throughout 2014. The details of this call were published on March 7^th in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country.  The deadline to apply is July 15^th.  Overview, links and annexes of the call, here.

-Grants for Basque Art Galleries.  This aid is aimed at art galleries located in the Autonomous Basque Community, in hopes of supporting their participation in international art festivals that are celebrated in 2014 to disseminate the work of Basque artists.  The call was published in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country on March 7^th.  Overview, links and annexes of the call, here.
