Rosario, Argentina.  Everything points to the Zazpirak Bat club in Rosario with the arrival of the weekend and the culmination of year-long efforts by the club to celebrate its Centennial.  The event is shared with the rest of the Basque collectivity and even neighboring countries such as Uruguay, Chile, Brazil or Paraguay, as well as with the Basque Country.  All this taking place as part of the 2012 National Basque Week in Argentina, under the motto “100 years of Nationalism” in Argentina.

Friday 26

-08 am. Delegation Reception. Breakfast. Location: Zazpirak bat

-13 pm. Delegation Lunch Location: Predio ex Exposición Rural (Blvd. Oroño & Blvd. 27 de febrero) Reservation at the office

-15 -16.30. Talk Floren Aoiz, Red Independentistak. Location: Bat Zazpirak

-17:00. Talk by Lehendakari Juan Jose Ibarretxe. Topic: Identity and Economics. Location: National University of Rosario. Maipú 1065

-19.30. Talent night: Villa Mercedes Basque club Choir from San Luis and participation of the music group from Arrecifes Maral and Baque artists: Urko, Naia Robles and Natxo Knörr. Performance by Itxartu Danta Taldea: Location: El Circulo Theater. Seats reserved with the secretary.

-22:00. Cocktails with performances of the fanfare of the Itxartu Dantza Taldea, and artists Urko, Natxo Knörr, Naia Robles, from the Basque Country, and the Maral band, from Arrecifes. Location: Predio ex Exposición (Blvd. Oroño and Blvd. 27 de Febrero)

-13:00. Laying of wreat at the Tree of Gernika with authorities present. Location: Plaza Gernika (Salta and Sabino Arana Goiri)

-13:00. Delgation lunch. Location: Predio ex Exposición (Blvd. Oroño and Blvd. 27 de Febrero)

-13.15. FEVA Lunch with authorities. Location: Zazpirak Bat

-14:00. Aurreskularis dress rehearsal. Location: Independence Park

-15:00. Debate of the nationalist political party representatives: Euskal Herria the New Basque State within Europe. Location: Zazpirak bat

-17:00. Kalejira Tamborrada featuring the children and youth band of the Northern District of the Municipality of Rosario accompanying delegations of tamborrada of other Basque clubs in the country. Route: From the National Flag Monument via pedestrian streets to the El Circulo Theater (Mendoza and Laprida)

-19.30. Cultural Evening featuring Argentinean Basque dance groups. Venue: El Circulo theater. Reserved seating with the secretary.
