The Bordeaux Euskal Etxea resumes activities, with a health pass; new people and menu at the Orestobask bar

Bordeaux, France. After the summer break, the Euskal Etxea in Bordeaux reopens its doors and begins its activity with film gastronomy, conferences and community presence at local events.  Its Orestobask bar now has new people and a new menu.  It is open Thursday-Sunday, and is always an excellent place to meet friends, colleagues and visitors.  Last Thursday, September 2nd, the group Kantuz entertained at is reopening and entertained during the evening.

During this first month after summer there will also be film, including the debut of the film Akelarre by Argentine director, Pablo Aguero.  Claude Labat will also present the film Utopia on the 14th and on the 16th at 6:30pm he will give a talk at the euskal etxea about witchcraft in the Basque Country.

To date there have been other conferences announced:  On September 28th there will be a talk by Xavier Itcaina on Basque dance; and the presentation of the book Le basque est fier (Basque is Proud) by Jean Joel Ferrand, on October 12th.

On September 18th, they will celebrate Heritage Day in Bordeaux, and as every year, the Bordaleko Euskal Etxea will participate with a stand with its products.  They have also announced a winery evening that day with the group “Aistrika Taldea.”

In October, the club will gather with Friends at two gastronomic events.  On October 1st a dinner with a cider house menu and on the 16th a meal shared with Basques from Pau.

Remember, according to the current regulations in the French territory, in order to participate in all of these activities, a health pass will be required, and due to capacity restrictions, RSVPs are recommended in advance to avoid running out of space.
