Donostia-San Sebastián. Pilartxo Lizeaga Pellejero, mother of Joseba Etxarri Lizeaga, coordinator of EuskalKultura.eus, passed away Monday night at home in Donostia-San Sebastian. She was 87 years old and had suffered from Alzheimer’s for the last 15 years. She remained at home the entire time, surrounded by her caring children and family members. She loved to sing and last Friday she sang her last song to then lapse into an irreversible state that would be her end.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 20th at 6pm at the parish of Gurutzeaga in the Donostia neighborhood of Aiete. May she Rest in Peace
