Brussels, Belgium. Bruselasko Euskal Etxea (BEE) will celebrate its Annual General Assembly next Saturday and have sent an invitation to Basques and friends of the Basques that live all over Belgium to come and participate. Throughout the year the BEE develops initiatives for children and families as well as for adults including Olentzero, classes in Basque language and dance, lessons and mus tournaments, and cider nights, as well as storytelling for the children….All collaboration is welcome, even if it is only for a short time and from only time to time. Come get to know us!” the invitation says. After the assembly there will be a “Txoko.”
All opinions and contributions will be welcomed, although at the time to vote, only members who have paid their dues are eligible to do so. Dues are 25 Euros for an individual and can be paid before the meeting to the account BEE (BE52 3631 2000 5309), specifying the member’s name; or also can be paid at the meeting.
The Brussels Basque club, that also organizes activities like Korrika, film series, and festival celebrations from Euskal Herria, will hold the Assembly on November 23rd at its headquarters located on 10 rue Fernand Bernier, 1060 Saint-Gilles/Bruxelles.
