Donostia-San Sebastian.  Do you live in the Basque Country and are you part of a music group that is looking for an opportunity?  The Musiketxeak network is providing you one with this year’s call for Basque bands.  Basque musical groups are invited to participate in the selection process that will result in four winning groups.  The winners will do concerts in each of the four venues participating in the network.  In addition, one of them will get professional advice, get to record an EP and copies of it, a place to stay, a live recording and the opportunity to do five concerts outside of the Basque Country.

The deadline to enter is July 22.  Interested musicians can send your proposals under the name: Musiketxeak 2013 Contest, via email to: info@musiketxeak along with the following:

- Registration form

- A minimum of three songs in mp3 or wma format

- A bio of the band and the projects carried out to date

- 2 Photos of the band

- Rider with technical specifications

 * Optional: DVD with a live show of the artists (the art Department will assess it positively)

The Musiketxeak network was created in 2011 and is comprised of the rooms Jimmy Jazz Gasteiz, Bermeoko Kafe Antzokia, Biarritzeko Atabal and Emankor Elkartea in Bilbao.  It is a socio-musical project in Europe that promotes a new way of cultural management dedicated to the training, creation, exhibition and diffusion of music.
