Donostia-San Sebastián. The Asmoz Foundation at Eusko Ikaskuntza, the Society for Basque Studies, is committed to projects that support online education in Basque while creating teaching materials, for children and adults with the help of EIMA (Basque teaching materials creator).  According to an article published on its website that includes some of the possibilities offered online for anyone interested in the Basque Country or in the Diaspora.

EIMA Euskal Ikas Materialgintza (Basque teaching materials creator) is a program that began as part of the Service of Euskera in the Basque Government’s Department of Education in 1982, and since continues to be vigilant in its goal to support the creation of teaching materials in Euskera, as well as preserve their quality and help in their diffusion.

In this context, the Asmoz Foundation, over the last few years, has created four teaching platforms to support Basque education through digital formats:

-“Haurrak eta Musika” (Children and Music)
-“Haurrak eta musika II” (Children and Music II)
-"Tribuaren Berbak" (This is how the Tribe Talks)
-"Hizkuntzarekin Jolasean" (Playing with the Language)

All of these are free and open to the public, so that anyone, or any educational center may Access these teaching materials.

“Haurrak eta Musika” (2016) and “Haurrak eta musika II” (2018). In the vital phase of childhood, children begin to lace themselves in their environment, but for this, it is important to get to know each other first.  In this way, the use of music, songs and movements to teach the different parts of the body is a great help.

The "Tribuaren Berbak" project designed in 2019, in collaboration with EITB and Kike Amonarriz.  Using the material in the Tribuaren Berbak Program on ETB, the basis of this material is to work on basic sociolinguistic knowledge about Basque and multilingualism in Euskal Herria.

Finally, in 2020, "Hizkuntzarekin Jolasean" was published. With this material. Composed of various activities integrated in three units, the goal is to paly with Basque: inventing hieroglyphs or funny stories, discovering the hidden meanings of words, preparing games, approaching humor with humor and creating new jokes.  And everything, always, in an interactive, participatory and playful way; in other words, promoting teamwork in Basque.

Currently, the Asmoz Foundation is preparing a new project of teaching materials in Basque that it will publish this year in collaboration with Landarbaso Abesbatza to teach children about cultures of the world through music and culture.
