The names of the four fellows from the Directorate of the Basque Community Abroad are published

The Official Bulletin of the Basque Country (EHAA-BOPV) published, on June 14, the names of the four people chosen who will be trained over the next twelve months as fellows from the Directorate of the Basque Community Abroad in its offices in Vitoria-Gasteiz (2), as well as at Basque Government Delegations in Argentina (1) and the US (1).  The four fellows will begin their practical training today at the Basque Government in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

Vitoria-Gasteiz.   The EHAA-BOPV published the Resolution of the Director of Basque Communities Abroad for the scholarships for the specialization of people in the area of Basque Communities and Clubs Abroad during the next year.  Yesterday, the appeal period also began, which allows a month for anyone wishing to appeal this decision to the Secretary General of Foreign Action.

Of the 24 applications submitted, seven were not accepted for specific reasons, and another 5 were excluded because they didn’t earn the minimum required number of points.

The individuals awarded the scholarships were:

  • Balenciaga Soraluce, Intza (Vitoria-Gasteiz)
  • Etxebarria Unzurrunzaga, Xabier (Vitoria-Gasteiz)
  • Goñi Zabalegui, Amaia (US)
  • Oteiza Goyeneche, Ioar (Argentina)

  3. Vicuña Sanabria, Ainhoa
