Vitoria-Gasteiz. The Basque Government’s Council has approved the call for grants for Basque clubs and federations for 2021.  The total budget is 902,305 Euros, the same amount distributed in the two chapters in prior years.  Also in regards to Basque clubs, the council also recognized the “Limako Arantzazu Euskal Etxea,” in Peru’s capital city.

The total Budget of 902,305 will be distributed in the following way: 782,305 Euros correspond to Chapter IV grants (operating expenses and activities) and the remaining 120,000 Euros are earmarked for Chapter VII expenses (infrastructure and equipment).

As with all of today’s approved items, they will go into force once published in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Country (BOPV) in the coming days.  The deadline to apply for grants will then be a month after the day after its publication.

Limako Arantzazu Euzko Etxea

Finally, the Council has recognized the "Limako Arantzazu Euzko Etxea-Lima Basque Center".  This now makes four officially recognized Basque clubs in Peru: Limako Euskal Etxea, the "Virgin of Juncal Civil Cultural Association” based in Urubamba (Cusco area), the Trujilloko Euskal Etxea and the "Arantzazu Euzko Etxea-Lima Basque Center" in Lima.
