Basque singer Maddi Zubeldia will give a concert today in Koldo Mitxelena auditorium in Donostia that can be enjoyed live from anywhere in the world on the internet. Living in Ziburu (Lapurdi) Zubeldia will perform accompanied by musicians Xano Urtxegi and Txomin Arizaga. The recital will take place at 7:30pm, European continental time [6:30 pm in London; 3:30pm in Argentina; 12:30pm in Mexico City; 11:30am in California and 5:30am in Sydney]. This is a great opportunity for many to enjoy the concert from home who would not have been able to attend in person.

Donostia-San Sebastian. Maddi Zubeldia, originally from Gipuzkoa but residing in Ziburu, will perform at Koldo Mitxelena as part of the “Iparraldea bertan” (Iparralde here) series, that this year celebrates its 11^th edition organized by the Basque Cultural Institute of Iparralde and the Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa.

“Iparraldea bertan” takes place annually in Donostia and serves as a showcase for musical production and singers from Iparralde, as well as for the Basque culture that is developed in Lapurdi, Behe Nafarroa and Zuberoa.

Next Thursday, and as part of the same series, there will be another talk by Battitta Boloquy, director of the Garapen Kontseilua, who will be introduced and interviewed by Franck Dolosor, a journalist from Lapurdi. This talk will also be streamed at 7:30pm on the internet.
