Mar del Plata, Argentina. We have arrived to Saturday night in our traditional chronicle of images from Semana Nacional Vasca. The artistic evening at Semana Vasca 2018 featured dantzaris from Argentina, Uruguay and the Basque Country. Some with much experience like the guest group, Akelarre, who came from Hendaia to perform “Irradaka” at the Radio City Theater. Other groups, more recently formed debuted at Semana Nacional. This was the case of the Euskal Jatorri Basque Club in Posadas that was represented by neskak who performed “‘Erre zenituzten sorginak.”
The show was divided into two parts and was presented in Euskera and Spanish by Iñaki Aramayo. To begin the show, the local dantzaris performed an Aurresku for distinguished visitors and authorities, and were followed by the txikis who opened the show.
