Donostia-San Sebastián. As this virus that keeps everyone on edge has reached us, and above all, has taken away the possibility of getting together to celebrate, the truth is that the future has also reached us and thanks to new technologies, we can somehow overcome the traditional concept of distance and meet and celebrate in this new way, virtually.

And so 2020 won’t pass without San Fermines, since several Navarrese and Basque clubs in the Diaspora are beginning their celebrations today, virtually, however with traditions like the txupinazo, music and dance, food and of course bulls, bull running and bull fights.  All virtually since this is the only option right now, from a distance but also close today being proximately distant.

Following are programs for virtual celebrations in various parts of the globe that can be followed from anywhere in the world:

This is a newly confirmed addition. Saltoko Euskaldunen Taldea, in Uruguay, with a large part of its Navarrese membership, is beginning to enjoy a return to normalcy and a few hours ago it received the go-ahead to hold a meeting and celebrate San Fermin.
