Rosario, Argentina. At the end of February Itziar Aguirre (see here) announced a new persona project “Trainera Basque Cooking.” At that point, nobody imagined that the virus would affect our daily activities shortly after. Since February, the circumstances have completely changed but not the enthusiasm of the Basque-Rosarine chef to launch her “Trainera” (rowing boat) into the water.
But it is already here. “Trainera en Tu Casa,” (Trainera at Home) already accepts orders from Thursday-Sunday and delivers diners so customers can enjoy the best dishes from Euskal Herria without breaking the quarantine. Their Facebook and Instagram includes each week menus and wine lists to accompany them. As hoped, there is no lack of the typical potatoe tortilla, haddock Bizkaian Style and piperade among the options.

Trainera en Tu Casa is available in Rosario and orders can be made on WhatsApp at 341 688 0752 Thursday-Sunday until 7pm. Deliveries are made between 8-10pm. On Egin!
