Madrid, Spain. As promised and included in the contest rules, the Euskal Etxea in Madrid has just published the results of its 2020 Photo Contest on its social media. Besides the top three places receiving awards, the jury also chose the 12 top works to include in the club’s 2021 calendar.
Due to the pandemic, the photo exhibit will take place virtually, on the club’s website during the first two weeks of December. If there is a positive turn in the pandemic and safety requirements allow, the possibility of an in person exhibit will be evaluated.
Here are the three winning photos chosen by the jury:
1st Prize

2nd Place
"Trontzalari," by Regina Rodríguez Santisteban
3rd Place
"Gargantua,” by Jesus Martín López
