Euskaltzaleak in Buenos Aires begins 2020 with a Trikipoteo and a semester that announces film, gastronomy, dantza, choir…

Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Euskaltegi’s priority is the instruction and diffusion of Euskera in Buenos Aires and with this objective works from its small headquarters, meters from the Obelisque.  That is where the 9th Trikipoteo will begin on Saturday, February 29th, to travel the streets of the famous San Telmo neighborhood.  The event will begin at 7:30pm on Bernardo de Irigoyen 826 where the first drink will be accompanied by Irati Lezama on the trikitixa, plus others players, dancing and taberna.

After this launch, Euskaltzaleak will accompany Carlos Gabilondo in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of his Traveling Film Series – Basque film Festival.  After completing a decade since the project began at the Euskaltegi, Gabilondo will screen ten films, one per month, beginning on Friday, March 6th with the premieres and a tribute to women just a few days before the 8M

This year, sukaldaris at Euskaltzaleak will teach a workshop on pintxos.  These monthly gathering will begin on Thursday, March 12th.  Spots are limited and so you must enroll by emailing euskaltzaleak@yahoo.com.ar. The schedule for the institution’s regular activities, Euskera classes, choir, and dancing, will be published in the coming weeks.
