La Plata, Argentina. The sixth edition of the popular Paella Contest at the Euzko Etxea Basque Club took place on June 8th with 10 groups competing, specifically Library, Mus, Catalans, Ceva, Dantzaris, Soccer for the Blind, Zaharrak, Pilota, Xare, and Euskera. After each recipe was tasted, members of the jury decided that the dantzaris from the hosting club, “Denak Bat,” were the winders with second place going to Euskera teachers and students.
The club’s president was in charge of presenting the awards, and during the evening, the audience was able to delight in each of the paellas entered for the contest.
