Boise, Idaho. Jaialdi organizers expressed with “great sadness” the postponement until next year of the largest Basque gathering outside of Euskal Herria, due to the “increasing number of Coronavirus cases now occurring in Idaho and the United States at large, and we are acting out of an abundance of love and concern for our friends and family around the world.” They also included that they will finalize how refunds will work, and they hope to share that information with everyone soon for those who had already purchased tickets to the various events.
“We’re all going through a tough time right now, but that will make Jaialdi 2021 extra special!” They concluded their note in the spirit of extreme caution and to protect everyone in their surroundings.
