Merced, California, USA. Aita Antton will continue to celebrate mass online in August from Our Lady of Mercy in Merced, CA Basque and English. These functions have become part of the Basque Catholic calendar in the US since the first online mass celebrated on Easter Sunday.  These will also correspond and be dedicated to picnics and Basque festivals that have been cancelled and will remember the sick and deceased of each of these Basque communities.

EuskalKultura.eus will be active in August, although we won’t publish the daily bulletin until September, and so we wanted to include this article with the upcoming dates for Aita Antton’s masses.  Mass can be followed live every Sunday at 8:15am PST (5:15pm Euskal Herria) on the Artzai Ona's Facebook Page, the US Basque Catholic organization, or recorded on the same Facebook page under the videos link.

(The video begins at quarter passed the hour with Aita providing an introduction and commentary, as well as remembering the deceased in each community with mass beginning at half passed the hour).

Here are some of the August dates:

-August 9^th: Dedicated to Basque festivals in Gardnerville (Nevada), on the 8^th, and Mountain Home (Idaho), on the 9^th
-August 16^th: Dedicated to Basque Festivals in Buffalo (Wyoming), on the 15^th, and in Seattle (Washington), on the 16^th
-August 22^nd: Stephanie & Tony’s wedding in San Francisco
-August 30^th: San Francisco Basque Cultural Center picnic

Masses take place every Sunday whether there is a picnic or not.  Readings and hyms for each will be provided weekly on Artzai Ona's Facebook Page.
