Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Office for the Basque Community Abroad of the Basque Government is advocating the celebration of a virtual edition of the Basque Diaspora Day in 2020. That is why they are opening the date to the whole week of September 8 (usually the specific date of the celebration), so nobody is compelled to celebrate on the same day or time.
