The 20th Contemporary Dance Festival is coming to its end with only two dance performances left. The two remaining countries, set to perform on Wednesday and Thursday, are Japan and Spain and both also fall under the European Capital of Culture Pafos2017 umbrella. Both dance companies have some out of the ordinary choreographies which merge the art of movement with music and voice – an overflow of art.

La Universidad de Burdeos acogerá los días 26 y 27 de junio, en su Campus de Talence, el III Simposio Euskampus-Bordeaux, coorganizado por la Universidad del País Vasco, en el marco del Campus Eurorregional de Excelencia Internacional. En la inauguración, el lunes 26, a las 11:00, intervendrán Nekane Balluerka, rectora de la UPV/EHU; Manuel Tuñón de Lara, presidente de la Universidad de Burdeos; y Matheiu Bergé, Consejero regional responsable de la Eurorregión, Cooperación Transfronteriza y Puertos y Aeropuertos.

Arnaldo Otegi mantuvo el miércoles, en Montevideo, una reunión con los responsables internacionales de los principales partidos que integran el Frente Amplio de Uruguay. En dicha reunión se han tratado cuestiones de mutuo interés como son las relaciones bilaterales entre EH Bildu y el Frente Amplio, respectivamente.

As I drove away from the pristine shores of Barcelona through a downpour, I figured my trip to Spain had already peaked. What was even waiting for me to the northwest, in Basque Country? Hell, what even is Basque Country? I neared my first stop, outside Urkiola Natural Park, and the rain started to break. As my eyes adjusted, incredible scenery spilled out before me, with shimmering sun revealing mountains wreathed in fog. I felt like I’d just road-tripped into a religious experience.

Duela 32 urte, Guardia Zibilak atxilotu eta Intxaurrondon torturatu zuen Ion Arretxe, Mikel Zabalzarekin batera. Egun haietan jasandakoa zabaltzeko lanean aritua zen azken urteotan. 52 urte zituela zendu zen, martxoan.
