Two Basque soccer teams, Real Sociedad and Eibar, will visit the US this month and they have already organized some meet and greets with the Basque community, like the Eibar team with the Basques in Las Vegas. As well as other Basques in the Diaspora also follow the matches passionately, despite the distance and the time changes. Some have taken advantage of the visit to propose marriage to his girlfriend (video to follow).  We will let you know how to contact both teams. 

Donostia-San Sebastian.   If soccer is a passion in Euskal Herria, fans of Basque teams in the Diaspora are not left behind, despite the thousands of kilometers and time changes, they make it work so they can continue to support their teams strongly as well as by wearing their colors.

This love is such that some, like Jonathan from the Eibar USA Peña, took advantage of their visit to Ipurua las March to propose to his girlfriend, Emily from the middle of the soccer field, during a timeout at the Eibar-Barcelona game.  Zorionak!

This month, two Basque teams will be in America and have asked their fans to come watch and cheer for them.  Real will be in San Jose, California on the 18th to play the SJ Earthquakes, and on the 24th in Houston to play the Houston Dynamos.  If you would like to contact the team, write here.

Eibar will be in Philadelphia on May 22 to play the Philadelphia Fury and on the 25th of May they will play the New York Cosmos in Las Vegas.  The Vegas Basque club, Lagun Onak, has already organized a meet and greet with the team.  It will take place on Monday, May 23 at 6pm, at the Lagun Onak Las Vegas Basque Club.  If you would like to contact this team, you can send a message here.
