Coinciding with the end of the year, from North Eastern Argentina, the Kotoiaren Lurra Basque club in Chaco communicates the publication of issue 11 of Erakin, published in paper and dealing with various topics on current Basque history and culture, in Europe as well as in Chaco and Argentina. The new issue has maintained the format of its predecessors and commemorates the 500 anniversary of the conquest of the Kingdom of Navarre on its cover, and includes an article on the subject authored by Cesar Arrondo.

Resistencia, Argentina.  The Basque club in Chaco has recovered the club’s newsletter with an announcement of its presentation to its members and the Chaco community in general. Kotoiaren Lurra emphasizes that the recovered publication will be in the same format as previous magazines published by the club.

Erakin includes articles written by its members and collaborators.  In this way, this issue includes the following:

-" 500 Years since the conquest of Navarre" by César Arrondo

-"Eusebio Zamacola Abrisqueta: from Basauri to Chaco" by Angeles de Dios Altuna from Martina that analyzes the work edited by the Basque Government and won the Andrés de Irujo  award in 2010.

-"15 years of the Guggenheim Bilbao: a Cultural Management that changed a City" by Fabio and Mariana Echarri

-"The ‘cousinada’ 2012 of the Larramendy family" by Juan Carlos Larramendy

-"The PNV is imposed and EH Bildu will consolidate as second force” and "The Gaztemundu Experience” by Mariana Echarri

The magazine also talks about activities organized by the club during the last few years, as well as the club’s participation in social gatherings in the larger Chaco community.

This issue is dedicated to an outstanding member and personality of Chaco, Licenciada Helga Nilda Goycoechea, who passed away last year in the city of Resistencia, according to those at Kotoiaren Lurra.
