Korrika, the popular race in favor of Euskera and the euskaltegis organized by AEK, will once again jump borders on this its 19th edition.  Thanks to the Diaspora it will arrive to a multitude of sites around the world.  Currently there are already events being organized in Havana, Cancun, Lima, Shanghai, Sydney, Paris, Valencia, Edinburgh, Mexico City, La Plata, New York, Boise…and many more!

For now, we will leave you with a list of dates of events being planned in the Basque Diaspora.  This year, the race will come to Havana, Cuba, Edinburgh Scotland, Lima Peru, Cancun, Mexico, and Marseille, France for the first time, among others.  Edinburgh will be creating a promotional spot for the race this Saturday that will take place on March 14th.  All events will also appear in our agenda.

They also recorded a spot in Paris that is already posted on social media.  The race in Paris will take place on March 7th.

In addition, there will be events in cities that have continued to participate for years: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Shanghai, Sydney, México City, Boise, New York, Santiago, Chile, Buenos Aires, La Plata, Necochea, Berlin, Belfast...Other events will also take place in Leipzig, Germany, Warsaw, Poland, Hungary, Liverpool, Santa Barbara, CA thanks to Basque students at lectureships sponsored by the Etxepare Basque Institute.

These are just a few of the events that will take place, and maybe others are currently being organized.  The list will continue to grow in the coming weeks in our agenda, and for another year, we will follow Korrika all over the world from EuskalKultura.com.  Aurrera!
