Vitoria-Gasteiz.  The Official Bulletin of the Basque Country published on April 24^th a Resolution of April 16^th which opens the call to Basque clubs to meet the healthcare needs of people who are in situations of extreme need in Basque communities abroad.

According to the priorities set at the beginning of the year by Asier Vallejo Itsaso, director of Basque Communities Abroad, the grant is not being affected by the crisis and the amount to be awarded this year is the same as last with 202,000 Euros.

Persons belonging to Basque communities abroad must apply via their local Basque club.  According to the resolution, if there is not a Basque club in the area, eligible people can apply via their nearest club: Non-members need to address the club closest to them geographically.

Deadline to apply is May 24, 2014.
