Providing the public the most traditional dances as well as some modern ones, the dancers from Argentina were once again featured at the Semana Nacional Vasca.  The show was very exciting and was the close to another intense day that began at 10am with meetings, talks, more excursions and a tamborrada.

Macachin, Argentina.   Following the program, as every year, Saturday at Semana Naiconal 2015 began with the FEVA meeting and reception.  In addition, as a special activity there was a talk by Josu Erkoreka, the Basque Government’s spokesman as well as minister of Public Administration and Justice.

In the same way, and under the auspices of the Basque-Argentine Business Chamber, attendees could also listen to a talk on the cooperative model at Mondragon given by Jose Luis Jimenez Brea.  Also during the afternoon, some Basque club delegations participated in the show featuring rodeo skills at the local Basque Club's Hippodrome (yes, they have one!).  At night the street once again filled with people when the sounds of the tamborrada were heard in Macachin.

Directed by Rosana Enitzne the drum players from various Basque club played the classics from the Tamborrada:

To start the evening, Juan Martin Mujica and Ciro Demirjian Sansinanea,  dantzaris from the hosting group, Gure Ametza, danced the Aurresku.
