After participating in the Centennial events of the New York Basque club, the former Lehendakari (Basque president) Juan Jose Ibarretxe will visit Mexico for a week where he will give a series of talks and conferences. During his stay in the North American country, Ibarretxe will present the “Lehendakari Agirre Center,” a network research project aimed at studying and publicizing the Basque model of development. This is precisely what he will talk about tomorrow at ITAM and the day after at the Iberoamerican University.

October 15, Tuesday

-11:30-13:00 talk about “The Basque Model of Human Sustainable Development.” Maestros room (first floor) at the Rio Hondo Campus at the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico.

October 16, Wednesday

-10:00 Conference. “The Basque Model of Human Sustainable Development.” In the Martin Buber Auditorium at the Iberoamerican University (Prolongacion Paseo de al REforma 880, Lomas de Santa Fe, 01219 Mexico City, Mexico)

-17:30 Visit by the Basque Government Delegation

October 17, Thursday

18:00 Presentation on the “Lehendakari Agirre Center,” at the plenary session of SINTONIA with businessmen, government, university and civil organizations. At the Autonomous University Popular of the State of Puebla (UPAEP).

October 18, Friday

-11:30 Meeting with the President and Directors of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosi (UASLN).

-20:00 Meeting at the Basque club (Aristoteles, 239, Colonia Polanco, México City.)
