The festivities consisted of a dinner that gathered founding members, new friends of the club and the Basque community in Villa Maria that have accompanied the club since its beginning.  The dinner was part of the extensive program of activities that Gure Ametza has carried out during this anniversary year and that will conclude on December 12th with a Taberna for International Day of Euskera.

Rio Cuarto, Argentina.  An evening of music, dance and poetry was provided by Gure Ametza in Rio Cuarto to celebrate its first two decades of live with members and friends. All of this as part of a good dinner that was attended by 140 people, including Dr. Manuel Llasmosas and Mr. Esteban Gomez representing the Governor of the province.

During the evening, Basque dances were performed by the dantzaris from Euzko Etxea in Villa Maria, the club that has accompanied Gure Ametza since its foundation.  Dances performed included: Aurresku, Arku Dantza and a Fandango among others.  The entertainment was even more varied on October 18th with performances by Cynthia Sanchez Benitez and Manuel Campoamor Ascacibar, who played the txalaparta; Iñigo Landeta with a poetry recitation My Four Basque Grandparents, accompanied by the sound of the txalaparta, and Roberto Elisondo, who played a few songs on his accordion.

At the time of the toast, club president Sergio Ramon Eguiazu and his predecessor, Eduardo Aguirre, remembered members who had passed away and thanked everyone for attending as well as honored all the mothers on their day.
