For four days, beginning today, Basque Films at the Village East Cinema in New York City

New York, NY, USA. The New York City Basque Film Festival will begin today with the screening of Amama, the third feature-length film by director, Asier Altuna.  On Tuesday, November 12th it will be Margolaria’s turn directed by Oier Aranzabal in 2018.  Urte Berri On, Amona!, directed by Telmo Esnal will follow in Wednesday November 13th.  Jai Alai Blues, by director Gorka Bilbao will close the festival.

All of the New York City Basque Film Festival sessions will take place at the Village East Cinema (181-189 2nd Ave, New York, NY 10003), and will be free of charge.  All films will be in their original versions in Basque with English subtitles.  The festival was organized by the Delegation of the Basque Government in the US with the support of the Etxepare Basque Institute.
