Homedale, Idaho. The Txoko Ona Basque Club in Homedale, Idaho has elected its board of directors. According to club sources, the General Assembly held on January 27th where elections were held resulting in the following being selected to join the board of directors: Marc Asumendi, Clay Haylett, John Lejardi and Jim Ryska, with Lisa Cowger as an alternate. John Lejardi and Lori Aguirre were then elected by the newly-formed board as president and vice-president respectively
In the name of Txoko Ona, the board thanked Christine Heldt, outgoing director, for her services.
There was also a special tribute and thanks to Fred Egurrolo, who recently passed away. “He will always be remembered.”
