Brussels, Belgium.  Brussels will be converted into a showcase of Basque culture thanks to the "Fenêtre Ouvert" festival that is dedicated to Euskal Herria this year.  The program will include concerts, conferences, dance performances, bertsolaritza, DJs and much more.  The events will accompany the celebration of the International Day of Euskera, December 3^rd, in Brussels.  The program will be complete with a tour of more than 30 concerts and workshops on traditional Basque music by Juan Mari Beltran and his group that will take place in several local schools and cultural centers.

The festival program was made possible with the support of Belgian and Basque entities like the Delegation of Euskadi for the EU, the Basque Government’s Department of Education, Language Policy and Culture, the Mikel Laboa Chair at the University of the Basque Country, the Basque Filmatech, Euskal Kultur Erakundea, Donostia 2016, and Euskaltzaindia, the Royal Basque Language Academy.
