Vitoria-Gasteiz. As published by the Basque Government on May 31st, following the regulations in force regarding administrative procedures, the applications for grants for Basque clubs that used to be sent by mail, or presented to the corresponding Basque Government Delegation, will now be processed electronically beginning with the 2021 grants.

In order to do so, the legal representative of the entity applying will need a BAK that will function as an electronic signature, or means of identification.  The BAK is obtained online, is free, and is valid for four years.  It will be granted to individuals who carry out online procedures in possession of a DNI (if from Spain), NIE, or a passport.

How do you get one? Follow these 3 steps:

You first must complete this form and send it, signed, along with a copy of your DNI, or passport to euskaletxeak@euskadi.eus. You will then be given an online appointment at the Lehendakaritza to verify the information provided.  Finally, you will receive an email with a link to complete the process and receive your BAK.

The measure responds to the general trend of streamlining files through online processing and thus facilitates procedures.  On the other hand, to clear up doubts regarding security in relation to personal and entity data, it should be noted that the BAK is guaranteed by the certifying entity IZENPE, a public company of the Basque administration.

Did you already begin the process?

If you have questions, see here or email to euskaletxeak@euskadi.eus or phone (+34) 945 018 127.
