Sabrina Otegui / Montevideo-Buenos Aires. Agustín Trigo Sarrautte is a dantzari and trikitilari at the Haize Hegoa Basque Club in Montevideo, Uruguay.  His history with the club goes back to before he was born as his parents were also members of the Eusko Indarra Dance Group. Nevertheless, for Agustin, Basque evokes images of friends, closeness partying and above all family.

In this short interview with EuskalKultura.eus, Agustin tells us how he learned how to play the trikitixa in Montevideo, about his experience in Gaztemundu, and other activiites that Haize Hegoa carries out.  And of course, he delighted us with a song.  Mila esker Agustin!
