The Basque Government gave the green light today for grants that will be awarded in 2020, through the Secretary General of Foreign Action, to Basque clubs, federations and confederations abroad at its weekly Government Counsel meeting. Grants will total 902,300 Euros, the same amount awarded in 2019.

There are only 10 days left till the end of the year and Basque institutions in South America are concluding their activities, in the majority of cases, to take a rest before beginning another year and a new cycle. Before summer break, some Basque clubs in Argentina and Uruguay will welcome a visit of the Director of the Basque Community Abroad, Gorka Alvarez Aranburu.

The Zuhaitzaren Herria Basque Club in Marcos Paz in the province of Buenos Aires participated again in the Immigrant Festival organized by the city.
