Zinemaldia will take place Thursday through Sunday of this week, November 15-18, at its usual venue the Kino Moviemento, “the oldest movie theater in Germany." The program this year includes Kalebegiak on Thursday, Errementari on Friday, Hunted by the Snake on Saturday, and Handia on Sunday. All films are in their original version with English subtitles.

The mural that will adorn the facade of the clubhouse is a work by Rocio Matosas Etchebarne, originally from Paysandu, Uruguay, and a Basque descendant. Saturday was an specially intense day at Semana Vasca 2018 in Mar del Plata. The first events in the morning took place in various locations. At the Basque club headquarters there were meetings of dance directors, Basque libraries, and Basque choirs. At the same time, Club Quilmes hosted the traditional FEVA meeting with Basque clubs from all over the country.
