It's one of the traditional Basque restaurants of Bakersfield. Founders Jean-Baptiste and Marie (Etchamendy) Curutchague sold the restaurant and retired in 2002 but the restaurant keeps paying tribute to its Basque-American ways and continues offering a well known Basque family style dinning experience.
