Bernardo Yanci was born in Lesaka and came to the US to Elko Nevada. In Elko he started again playing the accordion in 1964, the year of Nevada’s statehood’s Centennial. From a long line of Yanci musicians, Bernardo has learned and combined perfectly both the technique and the art of playing the accordion.

He plays a large repertoire of both Basque and American songs. He performs concerts including classical pieces, that he offers masterly. He played for Elko dances for years. Many times he is accompanied on the clarinet by Jean Iribarne and Juan Uriaguereca on the tambourine.
