The New England Basque Club keeps the tradition of Txitxiburduntzi Eguna alive. Txitxiburduntzi Eguna is celebrated in several places in the Basque Country before Lent, specifically on the Sunday before Carnival. In addition, it is primarily celebrated in Bizkaia.
